Al Ain University Commences an Orientation Week for New Students

At the start of the new academic year 2015/2016, the Deanship of Students Affairs at Al Ain University launched a welcoming week for the freshmen from 30/8/2015-3/9/2015. The aim is to introduce the students to the University, its departments and public utilities.

Dr. Dr. Ibtehal Aburezeq,  Dean of Students’ Affairs, manifested that the welcoming week for new students includes many important things that students should learn, such as the specialties, the courses and also defining for them their rights and duties as students. They will be also introduced to various extracurricular activities and events organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs and community service in each College.

Dr. Aburezeq confirmed that the University is ready to receive students for the first semester 2015-2016 where preparation of study plans, processing halls and laboratories do meet the students’ needs and is ready to provide every comfort to them.

The University completed its preparations and maintenance, which was under process during the summer holiday, where new laboratories were added in the College of Pharmacy and the College of Engineering. Further provision was implemented, such as the expansion of the Admission and Registration Unit as well as the Financial Unit to accommodate new students, in addition to expanding the parking lots and entrances to the University where the capacity is estimated to take in 2000 cars for parking.
