AAU hosts the Forum of Exchanging Training Programs for Students of Arab Universities for the First Time

Al Ain University launched today “The 23rd Forum of Exchanging Training Programs for Students of Arab Universities”, which is organized by AAU in conjunction with the Arab Council for Training Students of Arab Universities (ACTSAU) – Association of Arab Universities, in Al Ain Campus and continues until 21 March 2017.

The opening ceremony was attended by Prof. Ahmad Abdulatif Al-Qaisia –Director of the Arab Council for Training Students of Arab Universities (ACTSAU), Prof. Ghaleb El Refae –AAU President, Prof. Abdelhafid Belarbi –AAU Vice President (Al Ain Campus), Dr. Ibtehal Aburezeq –Dean of Student Affairs, in addition to 60 participants representing 40 Arab universities (Presidents, Vice Presidents, Deans of the Deanships of Student Affairs, Colleges Deans and Faculty members.

The forum included different sessions and discussed in exchanging training programs which aims to provide training opportunities for students of Arab universities by exchanging training programs between Arab universities representatives, in addition to promote scientific, cultural and artistic activities for Arab universities students.

Prof. El Refae said that this forum aims to qualify and prepare the practical side of the students, and hosting “the 23rd Forum of Exchanging Training Programs for Students of Arab Universities” comes in line with AAU’s vision to keep up with the highest international standards in education quality by exchanging experiences and knowledge and strengthen the scientific research and innovation among Arab universities.

He added that this forum comes from Al Ain University’s keenness to cooperate with different universities to exchange trainings opportunities and interact with the students to refine their personalities and provide them with education and knowledge.

Prof. Al Qaisia said that the Arab Council for Training Students of Arab Universities aims to support and organize all the events that develop student’s skills. He also raised his special thanks for Al Ain University for their efforts to host this forum.

It is worth to mention, that this is the first time that Al Ain University hosts the Forum of Exchanging Training Programs for Students of Arab Universities, and the participations were from different Arab universities as United Arab Emirates, Jordan Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Lebanon, Algeria, Iraq, Palestine and Somalia.
