E-Services Support Technician - Abu Dhabi Campus

Principle Purpose:

 

This role is responsible for writing technical document IT policies, procedures also for supporting electronic services that are provided by the university to the staff and students which includes (Learning Management System (LMS), Online Registration System and Mobile Application System) and to be able to add functionality to them. The main purpose of this position is to document and archive the IT center policies and procedures in adition to support the online services and to take clients complains and help them to answer their questions, also this job includes periodic reports handed over to the IT Coordinator explain the status of the services. 

 

 

1-      Monitoring Learning Management System (LMS) Moodle.

2-      Familiar with supporting e-services.

3-      Knowledge in administrating Moodle in relative to courses and users (Moodle).

4-      Monitor E-services, make sure that all services are working fine and secure, and provide this information to the IT Coordinator.

5-      Upload needed data to the Learning Management System each academic semester when he/she asked to.

6-      Collect complains or issues from other departments on the e-services and hand it over to the in-charge persons.

7-      Provide periodic reports about the online services to the IT coordinator.

8-      Answer any question asked by the students or the staff according to the online services, and try to solve their problems.

9-      Programming skills in php and mysql is a plus.

10-  IELTS/TOFEL certificate .

11-  Technical writing skills is a must (Arabic/ English)

12-Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
