Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Welcomes Delegation from Al Ain University

One of the goals of the wise leadership of United Arab Emirates is to develop the educational process in the state, His Highness Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Representative of His Highness the Head of State President of the Heritage Club welcomed a delegation from Al Ain University to discuss the development of educational curricula in the university system. Where, this meeting aims to promote the concept of patriotism through attention to the Arabic language as a language expressive of national identity.
His Highness called the need to simplify the curriculum and to the need to focus on graduating generations who are able to meet the needs of the labor market and serve the United Arab Emirates which is the responsibility of universities as scientific institutions contributing to the creation of a leading conscious and cultured generation.
The delegation headed by Dr. Nazih Khaddaj Mallat –Dean of the College of Engineering- Dr. Khazim Al Khuzam –Dean of the College of Communication and Media, Dr. Ahmad Al Jubair –Deputy Dean of the College of Law, and Dr. Tayil Shiyab –Deputy Dean for Graduate Studies, where they expressed their gratitude for the invitation of His Highness Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed to the Nahel Palace, and stressing on the university’s emphasis on the proper use of the Arabic language by the students and educators and its keen to prepare professional graduates to serve the community.
The visit comes within the activities of H.H. Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Heritage Festival 2017 organized by the Emirates Heritage Club and the Sultan Bin Zayed Centre for Culture and Media and will run until February 11, 2017 with the participation of various domestic and regional markets.
