AAU –Abu Dhabi Campus- organized a workshop about the “Reading and Writing Skills”
Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, may God protect him, to make 2016 a year of reading, the Deanship of Student Affairs at Al Ain University –Abu Dhabi Campus- organized a workshop entitled “Reading and Writing Skills” in collaboration with the Emirates Heritage Club and and Ashbal Al Quds Private School. The workshop was presented by Dr. Eyad Abdul Majeed - Deputy Dean of Student Affairs, in Ashbal Al Quds School.
Dr. Abdul Majeed started with a brief about the reading and its importance, which is the primary method to promote the intellectual, social, scientific and economic, as well as the reading is the main thing to achieve the goals and objectives.
He also talked about the appropriate details in reading, the suitable content for the kids and adults to encourage them to read, in addition to the reading methods, such as reading aloud and silently, and the benefits of each.
It is worth mentioning that the workshop has been receiving a huge audience where the school library was full with the student of all ages who has interacted during the workshop by asking questions and queries related to ‘reading’.
