AAU and Al Andalus Private Academy develop teacher’s skills

In order to support the educational process and interact with the community, the Deanship of Student Affairs at Al Ain University organized several workshops for the teachers of Al Andalus Private Academy in Al Ain, in order to contribute, the educational system development and provide a bright future for students.

Three workshops were organized and presented by an elite academic staff at Al Ain University with more than 100 teachers from different disciplines participated from the Academy.

The first workshop dealt with the subject of the methods of enhancing reading presented by Prof. Suha Al-Sotohi from the College of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences, the second workshop was entitled, Innovation and the development of critical creative thinking and presented by Dr. Mahmoud Askari from the College of Business, while the third workshop talked about belonging to the homeland, which was presented by Dr. Ibrahim Qatawneh and Dr. Hussein El Mougy of the College of Law.

The practical part added an atmosphere of enthusiasm to the workshops, which were supervised by Dr. Ibtahal Aburezeq, Dean of Student Affairs, and witnessed a positive interaction from the guest teachers.

Dr. Aburezeq said that the aim of organizing these workshops is to contribute to the development of teaching skills of Al Andalus Private Academy staff and to develop the ideas, methods in teaching and to renew learning patterns that will positively affect the educational process and students, Wishing further future cooperation between AAU and Al Andalus Private Academy.

For his part, Dr. Yahya Damour, Director of Al Andalus Private Academy expressed his gratitude to Al Ain University, praised its support and cooperation with the Academy to organize training workshops for the academy's teachers and services provided by the University to serve the community.

It is worth to mention that, the workshops lasted for two consecutive days and witnessed a great interaction from the attendees.
