AAU discusses cooperation aspects of academic and training fields

In the context of developing the training and academic field of the university, Al Ain University –Abu Dhabi Campus- represented by Dr. Amer Qasem –AAU Vice President- received Mr. Salem Al Awri –Executive director of the International Arab Society of Certified Accountants, accompanied with Mr. Ahmad Al Jabouri –Senior Supervisor and Mr. Salah Al Areed – Director of Professional Services in Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization, in the presence of Dr. Abdullah Al Shwabkeh - Deputy Dean of the College of Business- Mr. Zaydoon Hatamleh Director of the Continuing Education Center, and Mr. Hazem Hussain –Administrative Trainer in the center.
Both parties discussed the cooperation aspects in the training and academic fields such as, adopting the university as a training center, provide certified examinations for accounting and auditing programs offered by the International Arab Society of Certified Accountants. Where trainees can obtain Arab and International accredited certificates in one of the following professional certificates, IACPA, IACMA, CIMA and IFRS Expert. In addition to specialist courses in accounting and auditing fields such as, VAT Specialist which considered as one of the most important courses in the UAE.
The AAU Vice President stressed on the importance of combining the academic with training through exchanging experiences, provide opportunities for practical training for the university’s students in Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization and open opportunities for cooperation in the field of research for the training staff in the field of accounting and auditing by facilitating the process of obtaining necessary information and data for their researches.
