AAU launches “Safe Homes” initiative

Under the slogan Home Safety, the Deanship of Student Affairs at Al Ain University, Abu Dhabi Campus, launched “Safe Homes” initiative, in cooperation with the General Women’s Union, presented by Ms. Stephanie Daniel, and attended by Dr. Hani Al Jarrah, Deputy Dean of Student Affairs, academic and administrative staff and the students.
The initiative aims to spread awareness among students on home accidents and prevention methods, especially protection of children from dangers at home such as falls, burns, fireworks, swimming in pools, bottlenecks, allergies to food and some medications, electric shocks and hazards of chemicals at home. She also explained the first aid methods that parents can take with each of these cases until the arrival of the ambulance.
At the end, the Deputy Dean of Student Affairs presented an appreciation certification for Ms. Stephanie and the General Women’s Union in as a token to their efforts.
