AAU participates in “Aqdar World Summit”

Under the patronage of Lt. General HH. Shiekh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Al Ain University is participating in “Aqdar World Summit”, held at the Abu Dhabi International Center between 21 to 23 November.
AAU is participating with a booth, representing the colleges and programs provided by the university which aims to meet the student’s interests and serves the community and the labor market. Also, the AAU students are participating in the summit by attending different workshops to take advantage of the information provided and share experiences.
Dr. Noor El Deen Atatreh, AAU Chancellor, said that the participation of the Al Ain University in Aqdar World Summit comes from the AAU’s keenness to engage with the community issues, get benefit from the expertise, in addition to, enable the students to communicate with the community and to raise their awareness of the challenges they face in their lives.
For his part, Dr. Amer Qasem, AAU Vice President, said that the main objective of the university's participation in the summit is to promote moral values among students, and to raise their awareness in various cultural and educational fields.
“Aqdar” discuss on three main aspects; Moral Education, Intellectual Extremism and Moral Deviation, and its impact on the global security, peace and internal social stability of the countries.
