AAU students visits Abu Dhabi International Book Fair

As a part of its concern to engage with the community, the College of Business of Al Ain University organized a student visit to Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, under the supervision of Ms. Sayera Mohmand.
This visit was beneficial to the students due to the following programs: students attended a lecture by Dr. Naguib Al Shamsi titled “The relationship between economic Activity and Cultural Mobility”, met Dr. Salma Khamis an author exhibiting in the exhibition, visited “Kalimat” group and were inspired by their ambitious vision in the world of books and literature. Ms. Sayera also introduced the students to AQDAR (Khalifa Empowerment Program for students) on the importance of shift to E-books and new trend.
The tour concluded with a visit to the Sharjah Book Authority to highlight the book supply chain concerns in the region.
At the end of the visit, the students expressed their happiness with the visit and its importance to them in the cultural and knowledge level.
