AAU participated in the General Committee Meeting of the Colleges of Computing and Information Society

Al Ain University, represented by Dr. Nazih Khaddaj Mallat, Dean, College of Engineering, has participated in the “General Committee Meeting” of the “General Secretariat - Colleges of Computing and Information Society”, held in conjunction with the “18th International Arab Conference on Information Technology (ACIT'2017)” organized by “University of Sfax” in Tunisia, in the presence of the deans of IT faculties, engineering, or their representatives in the universities who are members of the society.
As he is a member of the Executive Committee for the “General Secretariat- Colleges of Computing and Information Society, Dr. Khaddaj Mallat expressed his satisfaction to collaborate with the “Colleges of Computing and Information Society” and the readiness of AAU senior management to provide the necessary support for this cooperation at all levels (permanent presence in the meetings, host the International Arab Conference on Information Technology (ACIT) in the near future, etc.), he also praised the role of the Executive Committee which is responsible for the implementation of the decisions of the General Committee in cooperation with the Secretary General.
It is worth to mention that, the “Colleges of Computing and Information Society”, established in 2000, is a member of the “Association of Arab Universities” and its general secretariat is based at “Zarqa University” in Jordan since 2007.
