Al Ain University participates in “Umex” and “Simtex”
Al Ain University participated in the “Unmanned Systems Exhibition and Conference 2018” (Umex), and “Simulation & Training Exhibition and Conference 2018” (Simtex), which are held through for three days at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC), Under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
Al Ain University participated with a booth to present students' projects in the field of technology, smart systems, and modern technology, in addition to a special section that presents the programs and services of the university.
Dr. Noor El Deen Atatreh, AAU Chancellor, stressed on the importance of AAU’s participation in both exhibitions which will be a great opportunity to engage with decision-makers and specialists, as well as, learn about the latest technologies and innovations in the fields of unmanned systems, simulation systems and training.
AAU students attended the conference entitled “Future Technologies for Future Threats”, Which hosted a constellation of military experts, academics and senior officials in the manufacturers of these systems, decision makers, to discuss many topics, such as «Determining the future of unmanned systems and training requirements», and "Employ future technologies to improve simulation and training capabilities".
