“Drugs” a trial case handled by law students in the Moot Court

The College of Law students at Al Ain University, Abu Dhabi Campuses, performed the Moot Court with highly efficient, which is considered a simulation of a real trial organized by the college every semester.
The Moot Court was attended by Dr. Amer Qasem, AAU Vice President, Dr. Ramzi Madi, Deputy Dean of the College of Law, Deputy Deans, academic and administrative staffs and AAU students. In addition to, representatives from the training institutions and guests from outside the university.
The court, was supervised by Dr. Hakem Al Sarhan, Criminal law Assistant Professor, and it was courting criminals accused of drug trafficking through the body of a young child, but they were arrested by the police.
focused on the trial of perpetrators accused of inventing various methods of drug smuggling, as they tried to smuggle narcotic pills through the body of a young child, but the security and judicial apparatus was alert to them.
The importance of the Moot Court lies in enabling students to acquire the necessary skills to practice law in addition to the skills required for judges.
It is worth mentioning that, the College of Law at Al Ain University is keen in developing its students by providing them with the practical skills necessary for them in their work life, and also by organizing internal and external training courses in various legal fields.
