“Because you are the life" in celebration of Mother's Day

The Deanship of Student Affairs (Abu Dhabi Campus) organized an initiative entitled "Because you are the life" on the occasion of Mother's Day, in cooperation with the General Women's Union, to express feelings of love and appreciation for all mothers, and to emphasize the active role of the mother in the family and considering her the mainstay in society.
The students visited the Sheikh Zayed Heritage Festival, which includes multiple pavilions, one of them the pavilion of the General Women's Union. They meet a group of women who called “Heritage Protectors” who make handicrafts of Sadu, Talli, Khous, and incense making. The female students honored them and distributed symbolic gifts in appreciation of their efforts and work in order to preserve the Emirati heritage, customs and traditions.
