A Delegation from Al Ain University Visits Universities in Southeast Asia to Strengthen Academic Collaboration

A delegation from Al Ain University, led by Dr. Noor Al Deen Atatreh, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Al Ain University, along with Prof. Mohammad Ghattas, Dean of the College of Pharmacy, and Dr. Mohammad Bustanuddin, Director of the Pharmaceutical Sciences Program, visited several prestigious universities in Malaysia and Indonesia.

The visit aimed to strengthen research and knowledge collaboration, promote student and faculty exchange programs, and support joint academic and cultural initiatives among the participating universities. This initiative aligns with Al Ain University's strategy to enhance its international relations and expand its educational partnerships, improving education and scientific research quality.

As part of the visit, the Al Ain University delegation signed several agreements, most notably a cooperation agreement with the University of Administrative Sciences in Malaysia. This agreement focuses on developing joint academic and research programs and creating exchange opportunities for students and faculty between the two institutions.

During the visit, the delegation toured various university facilities, exploring state-of-the-art research centers and scientific laboratories. The host universities presented their academic programs and outstanding research initiatives. The delegation also engaged in discussions with educational leaders to exchange ideas, share experiences, and identify future areas of collaboration.

Dr. Atatreh stated, "Our visit to these prestigious universities reflects Al Ain University's vision to enhance international partnerships and support academic excellence. We always strive to expand collaboration horizons to provide an innovative educational and research environment for our students and faculty, aligning with our aspirations to be at the forefront of academic institutions in the region."

Prof. Ghattas added, "The opportunities offered by such partnerships extend beyond academic and research exchange to include developing joint educational programs and initiatives that enhance student skills and empower them to compete internationally. We are eager to implement the agreements reached during this visit."

The visit concluded successfully, with both parties expressing their aspirations to promptly activate the signed agreements and implement collaborative programs. Such visits and agreements highlight Al Ain University's commitment to bridging academic communication between diverse cultures and enhancing its position regionally and globally.
