A Student Panorama Embodies the Values of Love and Humanity on the International Day for Tolerance

In conjunction with the International Day for Tolerance, the Deanship of Student Affairs, in collaboration with the Tolerance Club, organized an event entitled “Panorama of Tolerance” at its Al Ain campus. The event was attended by Prof. Ghaleb El Refae, President of the University, and Prof. Ebtehal Abu Rezeq, Vice President for Development and Follow-up Affairs and Dean of Student Affairs, along with students, faculty, and administrative staff. The initiative reflected the university’s commitment to the noble values of tolerance, which are deeply rooted in the UAE’s heritage, and to its mission of promoting a culture of coexistence, love, mutual respect, and humanity across all components of society.
The event featured a symbolic panorama in which students expressed the noble meanings of tolerance through artistic displays and diverse creative contributions, highlighting the role of youth in spreading values of humanity and fraternity. The panorama was accompanied by several interactive activities designed to instill the values of tolerance among students and reinforce the concept of peaceful coexistence as a cornerstone of sustainable development.
During the event, Prof. Ghaleb El Refae emphasized that celebrating the International Day for Tolerance reflects Al Ain University’s commitment to human values that form the foundation of civilized societies. He noted that the university places great importance on programs and activities that intellectually and culturally enrich students, thereby strengthening their positive role in serving the community.
