A delegation from Al Ain University visited the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Abu Dhabi, where they met with His Excellency Dr. Sayyid Ahmed bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Ambassador of Oman to the United Arab Emirates.

The university's delegation included Dr. Noor Al Deen Atatreh, Vice Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees, and Prof. Dr. Amer Qasem, Vice President of the University. The visit aimed to strengthen academic and cultural relations between Al Ain University and the Sultanate of Oman's educational institutions.

During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation and exchange experiences, while also showcasing the academic programs offered by the university across various disciplines, particularly those that meet the needs of the local, regional, and international job markets.

Reaffirming its commitment to Omani students, the university delegation highlighted the initiatives and services provided to students from Oman, including academic support, student activities, and a comprehensive campus environment that fosters excellence and cultural interaction.

The delegation emphasized that Al Ain University welcomes a number of Omani students each year across its various academic programs. It ensures an attractive educational environment with support in academic guidance and counseling, enhancing students' experiences throughout their studies.

Dr. Noor Al Deen Atatreh stressed that the university considers Omani students an integral part of its academic community and strives to promote programs that align with their ambitions while expanding cooperation with Omani educational institutions to attract more students in the future.

His Excellency the Ambassador praised Al Ain University's academic role, underscoring the importance of building educational partnerships that benefit students and support the advancement of higher education in both countries.

This visit reflects Al Ain University’s commitment to expanding international cooperation frameworks and strengthening its position as a leading academic institution at the local and regional levels.
