ACI Student Chapter Shines at the 9th Middle East Technical Construction Conference

The College of Engineering at the Abu Dhabi Campus proudly showcased the ACI Student Chapter’s participation in the 9th CSCEC Middle East Technical Conference, themed “Showcasing Revolutionary Modern Methods of Construction in Redefining Tomorrow.” The conference brought together global experts to discuss the latest innovations in modular construction, sustainable systems, and next-generation building technologies.
The student team—Ahmed Ayman, Ayman Alswaitti, Abdulrahman Ayman, Salem Aljaberi, and Mohamed Ayman was specially selected by the ACI UAE Chapter to participate and manage the chapter’s booth. The students engaged with industry leaders, explored new construction materials and systems, and demonstrated the spirit of innovation and professionalism that defines their chapter.
Dr. Omar Najm, ACI Student Chapter Advisor, emphasized the educational value of this experience: "Events like this transform our students’ learning. They bridge the gap between classroom knowledge and real-world practice, exposing future engineers to cutting-edge technologies, global perspectives, and industry standards. Such experiences not only boost their technical confidence but also prepare them for their careers with a clear vision of their role in shaping the future of construction."
