A delegation from the Civil Engineering Program at Abu Dhabi Campus, along with representatives of the ACI Student Chapter, participated in the International Construction and Building Materials Exhibition, the largest of its kind in the region.
The participation came through a special invitation from the ACI UAE Chapter, in recognition of the students’ active role and growing contributions to civil engineering activities. During the visit, students explored the latest technologies and innovations in the construction and concrete sectors by visiting company booths, engaging with industry professionals, and attending technical sessions delivered by field experts.
The students were accompanied by Prof. Abdulla Sharo, Prof. Mohammad Alhassan, Dr. Omar Najm, and Eng. Esraa Hijah, who provided academic guidance as they explored smart construction solutions, sustainable materials, testing technologies, and modern engineering systems.
This participation reflects the commitment of the College of Engineering and the Civil Engineering program to strengthening collaboration with the construction sector, while offering students practical exposure that enhances their knowledge and prepares them for the evolving engineering environment in the UAE.
