College of Engineering Welcomes New Students for Semester 2024-2025

The College of Engineering at Al Ain University (both Abu Dhabi and Al Ain campuses) organized an orientation day to welcome new students to undergraduate programs. The event aimed to familiarize students with the facilities and services available at the university and college level. The event included an explanation of how to calculate the GPA, the university’s grading system, and study plans for engineering programs. A tour of the university’s facilities, including the library, clubs, classrooms, and laboratories, was also organized for students.
In addition to academic advising, the orientation day provided a platform for students to interact with their peers and faculty members. A comprehensive overview of the support services available at the university was also provided, such as academic advising, career counseling, and student activity opportunities. Students were encouraged to take full advantage of these services to enhance their university experience. The importance of building a strong academic foundation while maintaining a healthy balance between study and personal life during the study period was also emphasized.
