Commemorating the Prophet’s Birthday in a Spiritual Atmosphere

The Deanship of Student Affairs at Al Ain University, in cooperation with the Tolerance Club and the National Identity Club, organized a religious and cultural event titled “In the Footsteps of the Beloved ” to mark the occasion of the Prophet’s Birthday (Mawlid Al-Nabawi), held in a special atmosphere of spirituality and faith.
The event commenced with a beautiful recitation from the Holy Qur’an by student Farouk from the College of Engineering, which brought a spiritual touch and a blessed start to the gathering. This was followed by an anashid (Islamic chants) performance by the Al Ajawed group, who artistically expressed their love for the Prophet in moving pieces that received significant interaction from the audience.
Dr. Ghusna Al Amri, Senior Preacher at the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments, delivered an impactful speech highlighting the early stages of the Prophet’s life and his story, drawing valuable lessons and insights from his birth up to the beginning of his mission.
The event drew a strong turnout from students, faculty, administrative staff, and members of the wider community, all of whom shared an atmosphere filled with faith, joy, and pride as they commemorated this blessed occasion.
