Coordinative Visit Brings Together Al Ain University and the General Women's Union to Strengthen Research and Community Collaboration

The Deanship of Student Affairs at Abu Dhabi campus organized a productive coordinative meeting with the Research and Development Department at the General Women’s Union, aiming to explore opportunities for joint cooperation in research and community-related areas. The meeting also sought to enhance student involvement in producing high-quality scientific research in modern fields such as artificial intelligence, communication, and content creation empowerment.
During the meeting, emphasis was placed on the importance of data and statistics in understanding current realities and evaluating ongoing initiatives and projects. Dr. Noha Hamadeh, Associate Dean of Student Affairs, stressed the need to align university research with the national and international priorities of the UAE, contributing to the realization of the country's future vision.
In turn, Ms. Ahlam Al Lamki, Director of the Research and Development Department at the General Women’s Union, proposed organizing training workshops conducted by Al Ain University faculty, focusing on scientific research methodologies. These workshops aim to enhance the research skills of Union employees and develop their knowledge of academic writing in accordance with the latest scholarly standards.
This meeting comes as part of the ongoing efforts of both institutions to foster academic and community collaboration and to contribute to the preparation of distinguished national research talents in support of sustainable development efforts across the United Arab Emirates.
