Al Ain University and TRENDS Research & Advisory signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at enhancing academic and research collaboration between the two institutions in the fields of social, economic, and future studies. The agreement seeks to contribute to evidence-based policymaking and the advancement of scientific knowledge in the United Arab Emirates.

The signing ceremony took place at the university’s campus in Abu Dhabi, where the memorandum was signed by Dr. Noor Eldeen Atatreh, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Al Ain University, and Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, Chief Executive Officer of TRENDS Research & Advisory.

The memorandum aims to broaden the scope of cooperation between the two parties through joint research and studies, exchange of experts and researchers, and the organization of conferences, seminars, and workshops, in addition to publishing joint studies and reports that contribute to knowledge development and support national decision-makers. It also includes the exchange of scientific publications and media cooperation to promote joint research initiatives.

Both parties emphasized that this agreement reflects their shared commitment to strengthening institutional partnerships between research centers and universities, and to advancing high-quality research that serves the community and supports the development of evidence-based public policies.

This step highlights Al Ain University’s keenness to expand collaboration with research and academic institutions both locally and internationally, in line with its vision of academic excellence and research leadership, and its dedication to building a sustainable knowledge-based society grounded in innovation and cooperation.
