Khalifa Library Organizes an Educational Visit to the Sharjah International Book Fair 2025

Khalifa Library at the Al Ain Campus organized a visit to the Sharjah International Book Fair 2025, with the aim of enhancing academic engagement with the latest sources of knowledge and enabling faculty members and students to directly explore cultural and literary works at both the local and international levels. The visit offered participants an ideal opportunity to discover new titles and learn about the leading publishing houses taking part in the fair.
Faculty members also played an active role in supporting the librarians during the book selection and acquisition process, contributing to the enrichment of the library’s collection with the latest publications that serve academic courses and research projects. Librarians were keen to attend the Library Conference, held alongside the book fair, to discuss the latest trends, challenges, and innovative practices in library and information sciences.
This initiative reflects Khalifa Library’s commitment to expanding learning and knowledge opportunities for students, academic staff, and administrative employees, while supporting cultural and research development and reinforcing the library’s role as a vital source of knowledge.
