Al Ain University Participates in UAE Roundtable on AI-Native Higher Education

Al Ain University participated in the roundtable discussion titled “The AI-Native Education Institutions — Reimagining Higher Education in the UAE”, organized by Dataiku. The event brought together senior higher education leaders, federal education authorities, and technology experts to discuss the future of artificial intelligence in universities.
Representing Al Ain University, Prof. Nazih Khaddaj Mallat, Vice President for Accreditation and Quality Assurance, took part in the panel discussion titled “What Does an AI-Native University Look Like?” During the session, he shared insights on how universities can move beyond adopting AI tools to becoming truly AI-native institutions through responsible implementation, strong governance, data-driven decision-making, and continuous quality assurance.
Through its participation, Al Ain University reaffirmed its commitment to innovation, digital transformation, and the preparation of a future-ready learning environment aligned with the UAE’s vision for advanced education.
