An awareness initiative on the causes of divorce and ways to reduce it

The Deanship of Student Affairs at the Abu Dhabi Campus organized an awareness lecture titled “The Phenomenon of Divorce” as part of initiatives supporting the Year of the Family and promoting family and legal awareness among students and the community. The lecture was delivered by lawyer Saeed Al Mansoori and lawyer Mohammed Al Mansoori.
The lecture addressed the main causes of divorce and its social and psychological impacts on the family, emphasizing the importance of mandatory family counseling prior to divorce and its role in narrowing differences between spouses. It also highlighted the legal rights of both parties after divorce, including financial matters and child custody.
The lecture concluded with an open discussion session, during which several questions from attendees were answered amid positive interaction, reflecting the importance of such initiatives in supporting family stability within the community.
