College of Engineering strengthens its presence in ISNR 2026

The College of Engineering at Al Ain University – Abu Dhabi Campus participated in the International Exhibition for National Security and Resilience (ISNR 2026), held in Abu Dhabi, reaffirming its commitment to advanced research and the development of future-ready talent in cybersecurity and smart technologies.

Representing the university were Dr. Muath Al Shaikh, Program Director of Cybersecurity, alongside Dr. Suhaib Melhem, Eng. Kenan Hassan, and a group of cybersecurity students, who actively engaged in specialized sessions and discussions with global experts and industry leaders. The event focused on the role of artificial intelligence and smart technologies in protecting critical infrastructure and strengthening national security systems.

A major highlight of the participation was the students’ involvement in the highly competitive ISNR Hackathon, where they demonstrated their technical expertise and innovative thinking by addressing real-world national security challenges in a dynamic and high-pressure environment. Their participation reflected the university’s strong emphasis on practical learning, innovation, and industry engagement.

Through its active presence at ISNR 2026, Al Ain University reaffirmed its role in supporting the UAE’s strategic vision in cybersecurity, resilience, and advanced technology, while empowering students with the knowledge and skills needed to become future leaders capable of delivering innovative and impactful solutions.
