Colleges Football Championship Promotes Sportsmanship and Student Engagement

The Deanship of Student Affairs organized the Colleges Football Championship during January 2026 at both the Al Ain and Abu Dhabi campuses, as part of its ongoing efforts to promote sports activities, foster a spirit of positive competition among students, and support athletic talents while developing their skills.
The championship witnessed wide participation from various colleges across the University. Matches were characterized by high energy and strong competition, with notable attendance and engagement from students, as well as academic and administrative staff, creating an exciting sporting atmosphere that enhanced the spirit of belonging and collaboration among participants.
The tournament also featured an advanced level of performance, reflecting students’ interest in sports and their commitment to developing their physical abilities. The top teams advanced to the final rounds following a series of intense matches.
At the conclusion of the championship at the Al Ain campus, the College of Engineering team secured first place, while the College of Pharmacy team came in second.
At the Abu Dhabi campus, the College of Law team claimed first place after a distinguished and well-deserved performance, while the College of Engineering team finished second, demonstrating strong competitiveness throughout the tournament.
