DBA Townhall Highlights Research Excellence

A Townhall Meeting was held at the Abu Dhabi campus, bringing together the Deputy Dean, faculty members, and Executive Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) students, as part of the College’s commitment to strengthening academic engagement and supporting students’ research journeys.
The meeting focused on discussing students’ academic progress, the development of their research projects, and clarifying overall program expectations for the upcoming stages. During the session, the College highlighted the outstanding academic achievements of DBA students in the previous semester. Several book proposals were accepted by Springer Nature, marking a significant milestone as students’ research moves toward international publication. Additionally, two students currently have manuscripts under review in impact-factor journals, reflecting the program’s growing research excellence and scholarly contribution.
Faculty members emphasized the importance of maintaining a strong research focus, upholding academic rigor, and ensuring that research outputs align with high-quality publication standards throughout the doctoral journey.
The meeting also addressed portfolio development, where students shared constructive feedback and discussed challenges, particularly those related to teamwork and collaborative research. This open dialogue reflects the College’s ongoing commitment to continuous improvement and a student-centered academic environment.
