Qualification::
• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or relevant.
• Professional, Technical/ IT management training/certifications are preferred
• Monitors IT Center performance in order to ensure delivery of high quality IT services.
• Participates and develops an annual plan and budget, ensuring the efficient utilization of allocated resources.
• Collaborates with all relevant stakeholders to coordinate the evaluation, deployment and management of IT systems across the campuses.
• Identifies opportunities and advises on appropriate and cost-effective IT investments.
• Consults with cross-functional teams to implement new services and re-engineer IT process as required.
• Administers and defines the security framework necessary to ensure compliance with all IT security operations, policies and procedures; oversees the correction of all security compliance issues.
• Provides technical assistance with the set-up, deployment and ongoing support of systems that support information security including virus detection systems, firewall content filtering systems and software license management systems.
• Produces regular and ad hoc reports and analysis on activities and programs.
• Conducts regular internal IT audits and prepare audit reports.
• Ensures that appropriate IT teams are in place in order to support the needs of various client groups.
