A Lecture Entitled "Diabetes and How to Prevent it” at AAU

The Deanship of Students Affairs at the Al Ain University, based in Abu Dhabi, in cooperation with the General Women's Union organized an awareness lecture entitled "Diabetes and How to Prevent it", where it happened to be that the lecture is organized to coincide with the World Day of Diabetes. The attendees were members of the academic and administrative bodies and a number of university students.
The dietician, Fatima Sadiq, from the Imperial London College Centre for diabetes, afforded a detailed presentation about the types of diabetes and its drives, stages and risks and how to deal with this disease and methods of discourse. She also explained the importance of exercising and lifestyle modifications, eating healthy food and various ways to foreclose and to ward off the disease.
