Academic Trip to BAKER HUGHES INC

On April 28th, 2011, Accounting students at Al Ain University visited the Baker Hughes Incorporation (BHI) in Jebel Ali, Dubai. BHI is the world's third largest oil and gas services company. Dr. Abdalla Salih, a lecturer in Oil Accounting at the College of Business Administration, supervised the visit.During their visit, the students were introduced to new technologies in oil and gas production, oil services, and marketing approaches. The students regarded the visit as a valuable learning experience. It was agreed to maintain contacts and regular visits and explore possible ways to strengthen these contacts.
