Al Ain University at Career Day

Al Ain University took part in the career day held at Palestine School in Abu Dhabi. The event aimed at introducing students to the academic programs offered at AAU and to the choices available, so that they can plan their future careers according to their desires bearing in mind the requirements of the job market.
During the event, AAU presented the principles upon which it offers programs as well as its policies in developing new programs based on the students’ interests.
Dr. Zuhrieh Shana’a, Deputy Dean of Student Affairs, expressed AAU’s keenness on building bridges of communication with students well before they get to university. This springs from a responsibility as an educational institution aimed at enhancing the professional and educational levels in the UAE. The Career Day has been an opportunity to meet with the students and guide them towards the choices that best fit their interests and abilities. When students make sound career choices, the results are mirrored in society as a whole.
The students were familiarized with the fourteen programs offered at AAU by its five colleges; the college of Engineering and Information Technology, the college of Pharmacy, the college of Law, the college of Education, and the college of Business Administration in addition to the graduate programs; the MBA and the Professional Diploma in Teaching.
