Collaboration between Al Ain University and Zayed House for Islamic Culture
A delegation from Al Ain University visited Zayed House for Islamic Culture in Al Ain in order to strengthen mutual ties with the organizations of the local community. AAU President, Professor Ghaleb El Refae, headed the delegation accompanied by the Dean of the College of Law, Dr. Hussain Al Mougy, in addition to other faculty members. This visit aims at activating cooperation between AAU and public as well as private sector organizations in the UAE in order to contribute to the community’s prosperity and to provide the necessary services assisting in the development and societal harmony in the UAE.
Professor Ghaleb El Refae, AAU President said: “The effectiveness of the institutions is measured by their cooperation with public and private sectors. AAU is adamant to complementing its work; thus comes our visit to Zayed House to discuss methods of mutual support that would benefit the whole community.”
During the meeting, AAU and Zayed House discussed various ways of collaboration. It was agreed that faculty members from the AAU College of Law would give public awareness sessions and lectures in line with Zayed House’s goals.
At the end of the visit, Her Excellence Dr. Nidal Al Teneiji, General Manager of Zayed House, accompanied the delegation on a tour to see the House’s facilities and services. It is noteworthy that Zayed House for Islamic Culture is a leading organization that seeks to provide the much-needed care and attention for new Muslims, and it has branches in several places in the UAE.
