AAU Holds Poetry Recital

The AAU Deanship of Student Affairs in collaboration with the College of Education organized a poetry recital entitled “Celebrating Life” at the AAU campus in Al Ain. Dr. Ahmad Al Awami, Dr. Ahmed Samwai, and Mrs. Manal Jebreel from the College of Education decorated the evening with their lines during the event which was attended by AAU faculty, staff, and students.
The participants presented varied poems depicting an array of images and themes with which the audience interacted. The event is part of a series of activities organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs to preserve the Arabic language and classical Arabic heritage.
At the end of the event, the audience hailed the event a success and expressed their appreciation of the tasteful evening and the engaging poems that celebated life in every way.
