AAU Students Visit ADISE 2013

The Deanship of Student Affairs at Al Ain University / Abu Dhabi campus conducted a visit to the Abu Dhabi International Sports Exhibition (ADISE 2013) held ADNEC, organized by the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation, and in sponsorship from the Abu Dhabi Sports Council. The AAU delegation included Dr. Zuhreia Shanaa, Deputy Dean of Student Affairs, student affairs employees, and 15 students.
The students explored the exhibitors’ pavilions including the General Women’s Union, the Family Development Foundation, the General Authority of Youth and Sports Welfare, the Abu Dhabi Country Club, the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, and Sheikha Fatma Bint Moubarak Women Sports Award. Discussions were held to look into future cooperation between AAU and these organizations for the exchange of expertise.
The students expressed their pleasure through taking part in the various sports events at ADISE in which over 100 local and international exhibitors participated including sports federations, clubs, government bodies, sports equipment manufacturers, sponsors, and agents for various kinds of sports such as car racing, aqua sports, outdoor sports, adventures, indoor sports, and fitness.
