The Emirates Writers Union in Abu Dhabi hosted a literary event at the National Theatre in Abu Dhabi during which Dr. Eyad Abdul Majeed, Associate professor of Arabic language and communication skills at Al Ain University, gave a critical review of the Emirati Poet, Eman Mohammad.
Dr. Eyad Abdul Majeed focused on the poet’s most recent collection of poems published by the Emirates Writers Union and the Ministry of Culture, Youth, and Community Development. Dr. Abdul Majeed provided a critical review of the narrative texts that were similar to short fiction, prose poetry and flash poetry. He analyzed the imagery, language, and rhythm of the texts in addition to the time, place, and relation to nature as well as the creative content of the texts.
