Nahyan Bin Mubarak Visits AAU Pavilion at NAJAH 2013
His Excellency Shaikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, the Minister of Culture, Youth, and Community Development, visited the AAU’s pavilion at NAJAH for Education and Careers Exhibition 2013 during the opening of the exhibition which took place at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. Dr. Noor Aldeen Atatreh, AAU Chancellor, received H.E. Shaikh Nahyan and gave him a brief on AAU, its programs and specializations.
This year’s participation is AAU’s fifth in a row in realization of the importance of the exhibition that gathers some of the biggest educational institutions.
Dr. Noor Aldeen Atatreh, AAU Chancellor, mentioned that “H.E. Shaikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, the Minister of Culture, Youth, and Community Development, visiting the AAU pavilion is a reflection of the care he gives and the development the sector of higher education is witnessing. His Excellency commended the effort exerted to raise the students’ academic level. He also highlighted their participation in conference and scientific exhibitions that will keep them up to date with the latest developments and research. We reiterate AAU’s keenness to take part in NAJAH every year to familiarize students with the programs and specializations offered at AAU and help them stay abreast with the latest developments in higher education.”
It is worth mentioning that AAU offers fifteen undergraduate programs through its five colleges: the College of Engineering and Information Technology, the College of Pharmacy, the College of Law, the College of Education, and the College of Business Administration. AAU also offers a Master in Private Law, a Master in Public Law, an MBA, an MA in TESOL, and a Professional Diploma in Teaching. All undergraduate and graduate programs are accredited by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
