In cooperation with the AAU Deanship of Student Affairs at Abu Dhabi campus, the college of law organized a field trip for the “Introduction to Law” students to the Federal National Council (FNC). The trip was supervised by Dr. Mohammad Alzawahreh, Assistant professor at the college of law.
On behalf of the Federal National Council, Mr. Ahmed Rashid Al Shehhi received the students and accompanied them on a tour of the council facilities. The FNC team also included Ms. Jameelah Al Hammadi, Head of the Research Department, who explained the legislative and supervisory role of the FNC and presented the council’s ten committees with their parliamentary role. The students then moved to the main hall, the gallery, and the office of the late HH Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
At the end of the visit, the FNC representative delivered a commemorative gift from the FNC to AAU. In his turn, on behalf of AAU, Dr. Alzawahreh presented a certificate of appreciation to the FNC for their hospitality.
