Al Ain University (AAU) took part in the panel discussion on “Green Economy” organized by the Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi (EAD) in which specialists in the field of environment and economy participated. The panel discussion was organized to mark the 17th National Environment Day, held this year under the slogan “Green Economy, Innovation and Sustainability".
AAU’s presence at the panel discussion is in commitment to increasing knowledge on “Green Economy” and spreading awareness on unsustainable consumption patterns in order to make them more environmentally-friendly. The panellists also raised the issue of changing the way we think to enhance to community’s role in achieving long-term sustainable development.
