Al Ain University honored the employee of the year 2013. The employee of the year was chosen based on distinguished performance and carrying out tasks in the best way possible. The ceremony was held during the open meeting with administrative employees by AAU administration at AAU – Al Ain Campus in the presence of Dr. Noor Aldeen Atatreh, AAU Chancellor, and Prof. Ghaleb El Refae, AAU President.
Dr. Atatreh, AAU Chancellor, thanked all AAU professional staff for their hard work; he expressed his appreciation of the employee of the year for the effort exerted in performing work underlining that honoring the employee of the year enhances loyalty and encourages more effort and hard work.
Further, Dr. Atatreh, explained that choosing and honoring the employee of the year is in implementation of the directives of senior management at AAU in appreciation of the employees’ hard work, in order to motivate everyone else to exert more effort to develop work, and in an attempt to offer a positively competitive environment to reinforce the culture of excellence which will reflect positively on the workplace. He highlighted that selecting the employee of the year is subject to carefully set standards and criteria.
On his part, the Employee of the Year 2013 valued this gesture reiterating that it is an honor to be remembered. He also thanked his colleagues for the support they extended which uplifted his spirits and helped him realize his goals.
