AAU participates in the International Exhibition for Security and National Resilience (ISNR)
In coordination with the Deanship of Student Affairs at Al Ain University (AAU) at Abu Dhabi campus, AAU students and faculty members from the colleges of Law and Business Administration participated in the sixth International Exhibition for Security and National Resilience (ISNR) organized by the UAE Ministry of Interior under the patronage of Sheikh Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Adviser and Vice Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council. The event was officially inaugurated by Lt. General Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
During the visit, the students toured the various sections at the exhibition in cooperation with the Association of Women Police. They also attended “Aftershock”, a live demonstration on responding to crisis and emergencies, in addition to the UAE World's Fireﬁghter Challenge, and the K9 police dogs show.
The exhibition included pavilions specialized in homeland security and national resilience, information security, and critical infrastructure security. There were also two accompanying exhibitions; Fire and Emergency Middle East, and Occupational and Health Safety Middle East. The exhibition showcased hundreds of exhibitors specialized in security, safety, and emergency from governmental, semi-governmental, and private sectors.
