In addition, the AAU President underlined the importance of academic advising and following the study plan warning students against incomplete exams and academic warnings as they form the biggest element of pressure to students.

He added that through its long term plan, AAU seeks for its academic outcomes to be in line with the most recent educational and scientific research technologies as scientific research is the real criterion for assessing an institution’s level of outcomes. This requires students to have the vision and ability to keep up with these advances through referring to academic resources in all their forms.

On his part, the AAU Vice President, Prof. Abdelhafid Belarbi, welcomed the new students reiterating that AAU pays special attention to both curricular as well as extracurricular activities as attaining the best academic results can be achieved through various strategies one of which being encouraging extracurricular activities that support the educational vision. He highlighted that students need to maintain communication with the Deanship of Student Affairs to take advantage of the various student activities that address the students’ interests and abilities, and that the Deanship is ready to provide all sorts of cultural, social, athletic, and arts activities through its various departments.
