AAU Takes Part in Health Week and Umm Al Emarat Exhibition

AAU Takes Part in Health Week and Umm Al Emarat ExhibitionAl Ain University, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs and the College of Pharmacy, took part in the Health and Fitness Week organized in Abu Dhabi under the patronage of HH Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak (Umm Al Emarat), Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation and the Head of the General Women’s Union, with participation from numerous public and private bodies. AAU’s participation is an initiative to help raise health awareness in the community and promote fitness by adopting a healthy lifestyle comprising outdoor activities and a balanced diet. The students of the AAU College of Pharmacy gave out these health tips and more. In addition, Ms. Khawla AlQaisi delivered a public presentation on wellness followed by Diabetes and BMI tests for the audience. In a similar context, the AAU Deanship of Student Affairs participated in the exhibition held at Umm Al Emarat high school in Al Ain. AAU aimed at interacting with students and parents through addressing all inquiries and introducing AAU’s programs to the visitors. AAU currently offers fifteen undergraduate programs through its five colleges: the College of Engineering and Information Technology, the College of Pharmacy, the College of Law, the College of Education, and the College of Business Administration. AAU also offers a Master in Private Law, a Master in Public Law, an MBA, an MA in TESOL, and a Professional Diploma in Teaching. The exhibition was also an opportunity to familiarize prospective students with the new programs AAU is going to offer in the near future.
