In collaboration with TechKnowledge-Dubai, AAU Khalifah Library hosted a workshop for faculty members at both campuses in Al Ain and Abu Dhabi. The workshop tackled how to use Turnitin in classroom management and assessing students’ work.
The workshop was conducted by Mr. Ahmad Al Masri, Academic Consultant at TechKnowledge – Dubai, who presented the audience with ideas to make use of the features and tools of Turnitin in classroom management, detecting plagiarism, and delivering rich feedback to students.
It is worth noting that Khalifah Library, in Al Ain and Abu Dhabi, is keen on holding a variety of workshops for students and faculty alike in order to help them effectively use information resources. At the end of the workshop, participants expressed their pleasure on being able to learn more about the versatility of Turnitin. They also lauded the effort made by Khalifa Library in holding such workshops.
