The Community Engagement Committee of the AAU College of Law at Abu Dhabi Campus organized a talk in commemoration of the Prophet’s (PBUH) birthday. The talk was supervised by Dr. Abdallah Al-Ghuwairi, head of the college of law community engagement committee, and in collaboration with the Deanship of student affairs. Dr. Maher Haswa, Assistant professor at the college of law, delivered the lecture which was attended by faculty members, staff, and students.
Dr. Hasweh talked about the virtues of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) and his birthday, which represents the birth of a nation and the birth of a religion. He pointed out that the Prophet is an embodiment of Islam’s message of tolerance and is also a symbol of peace, justice, equality. At the end of the talk, Dr. Hasweh called on the audience to follow the guidance, morals and teachings of the Holy Prophet.
