The College of Pharmacy Wins AAU College Olympics

The First AAU College Olympics concluded in Al Ain. The Olympics, organized by the AAU Deanship of Student Affairs, is a representation of fostering collegiate sports, competitions, and activities. The first College Olympics took place in the Sports Hall in the AAU campus in Al Ain as part of the university’s strategy to activate students’ participation in college activities and contribute to promoting sports as part of a healthy lifestyle.

The Olympics included competitions between college teams in basketball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, and chess for both female and male students; with the addition of soccer to the boys’ teams.

On this occasion, Dr. Enas Abu Libdeh, Dean of Student Affairs, reiterated AAU’s commitment to fostering student activities. AAU, she added, believes in the students’ capabilities and seeks to strengthen bonds of cooperation and solidarity among students. It is worth mentioning that the College of Pharmacy came first in the overall team ranking hence winning the event.
