The Effectiveness of Awareness about Drugs in Al Ain University

Under the slogan "Stop! Think! Your Life is Your Sanctuary!”, the Deanship of Students Affairs, based in Al Ain, organized an effective awareness lecture about the dangers of drugs which Mr Salem Al Alawi from the DEA, Mr. Saif al-Din Abu Nahl and Mrs. Manal Jibril, faculty members in the College of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences.
The aim of the lecture is to raise the students’ awareness on drugs risks and their consequesnces upon an individual’s health and social life. The involvement of friends and families is crucial as they may play vital roles in protecting the youths from becoming drug addicts and can help prevent the spread of this dangerous common phenomenon.
