Al Ain University Students Provide Psychological Support for the Eldery and People with Disabilities

The Deanship of Students Affairs at the Al Ain University, based in Abu Dhabi, in cooperation with Mrs Rasha Sadeeq, organized for 30 students a visit to the Higher Zayed Humanitarian Care for the Elderly and the Special Needs, which is located in Mafraq. The purpose of the visit is to provide psychological support for people with special needs and the elderly, since the visit comes within the framework of practical training for students of psychology and ethical awareness.
Dr. Iyad Abdul Majeed, the Assistant Dean of Students Affairs, explained to the students that the social interaction within and outside the university is important, as this type of field visits to the elderly and the disabled confirms that they are not isolated groups in our society, but they are loved and cared for.
