Awareness Lecture on the Occasion of World Cancer Day in Al Ain University

The Deanship of Students Affairs at the Al Ain University, based in Abu Dhabi, organized a cancer awareness lecture in cooperation with Perejil Hospital on the occasion of ‘World Cancer Day’ that was presented by Dr Madani Mahjoub. The lecture was attended by the university faculty, administrative and students.
Dr. Madani gave a brief talk on cancer as a group of different diseases that occur due to the presence of abnormal cells divided without a controller, and are capable to open to the remainder of a human’s body.
The lecturer also gave a detailed presentation on the types of malignant neoplastic disease, such as breast cancer, cervical cancer and kidney cancer, which is one of the most rapidly spreading cancers, how they spread and the methods of treatment.
